“Working with local artists, we set out to promote our wonderful country depicting images of Belfast – the birthplace of the Titanic, the world-renowned Queens University, The Giants Causeway, Game of Thrones film locations and many other great sites and scenes.”
A new website design was required for Bill & Caroline’s fresh and exciting new endeavour offering imaged tins depicting iconic and historical landmarks of Belfast, NI and Ireland, created by local artists. A key aspect of the project was to convey a professional but friendly message to a range of customers such as Retailers, Corporate Partners, Event planners to include national and international End Users. An artistic fun and unique design with required to reflect this. An ecommerce system was required but had to be listed and found in relation to the uniqueness of the tin’s artwork.
Solution
The tone of voice and aesthetics of the site, was warm, witty, fun and visitor interaction will be cohesive with ongoing social campaigns. Additionally, the persona of the website will reflect the advancement of the company’s aspirations, direction, vision and uniqueness. Unique hero sections with videos and interactive elements were created.
Conversion goals were set and the website structure (incl. design) was based around their target market segments. Clear Calls to Actions were created to support various goals such as newsletter signups, making enquiries and purchasing products. An ecommerce platform was implemented. Specific filters for the uniqueness of each tin was created e.g. by Artist, location (Game of thrones) etc. Each product group and single product page were uniquely designed.
